There’s life in the old dog yet: How companies are rediscovering 3D & virtual reality as a new media channel alongside web, mobile and social

Description:
Digitization is permeating all businesses faster and faster, and so are media companies. Facebook just recently announced its alignment with the “Metaverse,” a new parallel world to our real lives where people can meet, interact, play and communicate in virtual reality despite being in different locations.

In this webinar, we provide insight into how media companies are repositioning themselves to reach their customers. Our keynote speaker Tobias Bieker from SWR will introduce “SWR Virtuell”. SWR Virtuell is a digital version of SWR that can be experienced completely like a computer game with PC or VR glasses. In addition, Zreality brings additional examples of how media but also industrial companies use virtual tours for customer and reach acquisition.

How do you create such new meta-worlds? What do you have to pay attention to? What advantages do they bring? How successful are they today? What does the future of the metaverse look like? You will learn all this in our webinar.

Metaverse as a sales channel: How Ingram Mirco and HP are using virtual reality showrooms to bring HP’s computing portfolio closer to partners and customers.

Description:
Digitalization is permeating all businesses at an ever faster pace – including IT companies as well as distributors. Facebook just recently announced its alignment with the “Metaverse,” a new parallel world to our real lives where people can meet, interact, play, collaborate and communicate in virtual reality despite being in different locations.

In this webinar, we’ll provide insight into how companies are repositioning themselves to distribute their products to customers. Our keynote speaker Philip Hermanni from Ingram Micro will present a new approach to sales and training from the distributor’s perspective with HP products. The HP Z-Space is a virtual sales showroom where HP brand products can be fully experienced like a computer game with PC or VR glasses and are within customers’ reach.

PCs and laptops can be discussed in detail and product benefits explained in VR. All participants meet as avatars and interact with each other as in reality via speech and gestures, products can be touched. Even a look into the product is possible. Gamification elements turn an event into a real experience. The experience was optimized with the help of the Zreality Grids platform for the HP Reverb G2 glasses, among others.

In the second part of the event, Zreality will show further examples of virtual sales showrooms that offer companies an entry into today’s new sales channels.

How do you create such new meta-worlds? What do you have to pay attention to? What advantages do they bring? How successful are they today? What is the future of using Metaverse solutions from HP and Ingram? You will learn all this in our webinar.

Collaboration in the Metaverse: How BASF is already using virtual reality to improve employee collaboration and optimize processes today

Description:
Metaverse – a term that is often used in many companies today, especially with regard to future technologies that are still 10 years in the future. Yet many companies have already been working on a kind of digital twin of reality for several years and are already using it in practice.

In this webinar, we will provide insight into how companies are already using virtual reality and web 3D to create their own worlds for workshops, product presentations and as a kind of digital twin of real processes. No matter if the topic is to distribute products to customers or to develop together from different points of the world: With an “enterprise metaverse”, costs can be saved, processes as well as developments can be accelerated and people in the company can be networked with each other.

Our keynote speaker Tobias Breuer from BASF will present how BASF is already working virtually with various solutions. He explains what expectations are tied to virtual collaboration tools to create effects such as direct connections between customers and BASF units, to bring products directly to the customer and to save costs.
For example, one solution brings entire event worlds with different rooms onto a 24″ monitor and onto VR glasses. All participants meet as avatars and interact with each other as in reality via speech and gestures, products can be touched or manipulated. Even a look inside the product is possible.

In the second part of the event, Zreality will show further examples of virtual spaces that offer companies an entry into the metaverse of today. How do you create such new metaworlds? What do you have to pay attention to? What advantages do they bring? How successful are they today? What does the future hold for the use of metaverse solutions at BASF? You can learn all about this in our webinar.
